Responsible Rights is a traveling symposium on the Texas Public Information Act and the Texas Open Meetings Act. The program is presented by FOI attorneys and is directed toward media, government employees, elected officials and the general public. The course materials have been approved by the Office of the Attorney General of Texas as meeting the requirements for open government training for public officials.
Cost
The cost for attending the Texas Public Information Act only is $40. The cost for attending the Texas Open Meetings Act only is $35. The full day is $65 and includes lunch.
With full day registration, participants also get a free $25 membership to FOIFT, which includes online access to the FOIFT handbook and a one year subscription to the FOI Focus.
