Pamela Mayo Clark
|
Pamela Mayo Clark is the Director of Education and Special Projects of The Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas.
She is pleased to help FOIFT take a more active – and more visible –
role in opening up government at all levels throughout Texas. Pamela served as a public information officer for the City of Austin and as the Director of Community Services and Outreach for the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. She was executive director and director of development for a host of successful non-profit organizations. Pamela started her post-college career as a newspaper reporter, then
moved on to serve as a press secretary, director of finance and
campaign manager for political campaigns at the local, state and
federal levels. All but one of her political candidates were underdogs, and all of them won. Pamela graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism. She
was elected to the Texas Student Publications (now Texas Student Media)
Board of Trustees, where she served as President for two years. While at UT, Pamela was a Goodfellow, Outstanding Student and a Bluebonnet Belle. You can reach Pamela by email at pamela.mayo.clark@foift.org.
